I am a doctor(useless), researcher/PI & developer.
I get to spend my days tinkering with the latest developments in medical informatics, genetics, and genomics while somehow managing to make it look easy (it's not).
Despite being based in Montgomery, NJ (which is a pretty cool place, I might add), I'm actually a member of the Columbia DBMI community an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a Scientist at Boston Children's Hospital, working my magic from the comfort of my home + starbucks + libraries + my daughter's gym/dancing/painting classrooms.
I lead a NIH (thank you my funding agency) sponsored research project .
If you are interested in the more professional side of me, you can find my CV here.
You can also find my Google Scholar here.
Of course, if you want to see what I look like, please visit my profile page at HMS.
Programming? Yes, of course. Please check my if you are interested.
Of course, all of this hard work doesn't come without a price - I hit the gym or (recently on the rock climbing wall) every night to keep my mind and body in top shape. When I'm not busy being a nerd, you'll find me devouring Kōtarō Isaka's (伊坂幸太郎) latest page-turner or planning my next adventure to some far-flung corner of the globe. And I wrote a fiction in my spare time.
Oh, and did I mention that I'm a proud parent to a 45-year-old girl and 12-year old boy? Yeah, I'm basically a superdad. But afterall - I'm just your friendly researcher, trying to make the world a better place one code snippet at a time.
